There are Many talented people who make appearances in the workshop.

I value their privacy, so cannot just name people willy nilly on a new Website, but I will add them as they give the all clear.

Incredible projects are worked on here

Robert Toone

Designer, Producer, Programmer and whatever is needed.

A Veteran in the Games Industry. Involved in over 80 published game titles as well as a number of non-published games over the last 40+ years.

Started as a Designer with my programming friends, then moved into programming along the way. The whole time leading dev teams. I would say my strongest skill is to complete what I start. From my first hit called Bounder to publishing my own games on XBLIG and working behind the scenes on making AAA games better. I invest in what I do.

Games are not the only creative outlets I have tried. Such as a TV series and writing books. My Mantra is It must be Fun, or tell a Story. I work hard to create the games or other creative works I do. I hope to inspire or excite others with my various projects.

I love the world, I love people and differences always make life interesting. I play tennis and ride my motorcycles off road or on the mountain roads. I also love my family dearly and enjoy doing things with them… especially the off roading.

Getting my own published projects noticed is the hardest part.

The single best thing about developing with my Eldest child, Ender. Is just how close this has made us over the years. I love them dearly and love being creative with them.

Ender Toone

Creative Engineer.

Creative Engineer is both my preferred career name and what we’ve come to call my work trajectory. In part, this is because someone took Imagineering off the table and copyrighted it. Professionally, I am a person who does everything to engineer what they imagine.

That leads to the question, right? I imagine worlds, as a Dungeons and Dragons ‘Dungeon Master’, as a designer of Escape Rooms and Video Games, as a Director of Theatrical productions. I create those worlds, maintain those worlds, as a Stage Manager of Theatrical productions, as a manager and fabricator of Escape Rooms, a fabricator of props for Cosplay, for Theatre. I draw, I glue, I sew, I write, I mend, until the thing I wanted to create lives in front of me, can be held in my hands, until someone walks into the room and says ‘Wow, How did you make that?’.

Craft is the nature of my life! Everything is better handmade, and I live for that ethos. To handmake something that you- YOU- will love. That you will play, engage with, think about, and be inspired by. To make your own thing. To see other people’s things. To mend something broken, to pick up a new skill and hobby for the delight of creation.

Perhaps that is the answer after all then. I am one of Creation’s Emissaries, a child of Hephaestus, creating things beautiful, and ugly, and funny, and heartbreaking, just to do it. To have it present. To have it made. And I am so so lucky to be supported in this endeavor, this mission, by my father, an inevitable Creator of Things himself, and my family and loving life partner.
